Sandvik is a traditional multinational conglomerate in the metal industry. As its old facilities were no longer sufficient for its current needs, management decided a change was needed. In summer 2006 we designed new offices for Sandvik in a business park office building located in Vantaa.
The goal in terms of the visual identity of the office space was the story of stainless steel. When customers arrive at the facility they go through an exhibition space displaying the materials and products produced by the company. The contrast between coarse and smooth surfaces and the the delicate structures used in the interior decoration are testament to the versatility of steel in the hands of experts.
