Sinuhe is a family owned café chain and it was established in the 1930’s. The café is named after the protagonist in Mika Waltari’s classic novel The Egyptian. The brief was to design a stylish and modern café to a new shopping center Karisma located next to the Lahti highway. Objective was to create a child-friendly café with minimum 60 seats combined with a deli and possibility to sell freshly baked pastries.
